Walkers Lookout:
NORTH

In out of the way places across the north, lie some of Flinders Island’s finest beaches, distinctive landmarks and richest heritage stories.

Browse through the interactive landscape map below to read more about these.

While most people’s experience of the north of Flinders Island starts with a visit to Killiecrankie and Palana, be sure to not to limit your time here to exploring these two icons.

On your way home you can also detour out to Memana to appreciate the scenery on offer from the Furneaux Lookout. This remembers the voyage of the HMS Adventure under the command of Tobias Furneaux along this coastline in 1773.
