Immerse yourself in ‘island life’ by getting involved in the many community events on offer. It’s the best way to get to know the local characters, meet the producers, taste some of the world’s best produce and revel in the many sporting and cultural festivals.
The third weekend in January is the Furneaux Islands Festival which celebrates island community, culture, food and music with a series of events of three days.

Other events to keep an eye out for are
Flinders Flicks Film Festival and Whitemark Weekly ParkRun.
